2 cups frozen broccoli florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 (10-ounce) package fully cooked chicken and apple sausage links, sliced crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick pieces
1-1/4 cups jarred Alfredo sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
1. Prepare linguine as label directs; during last 3 minutes of cooking, stir in broccoli. Drain; return to saucepot and cover.
2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook 4 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently; reduce heat to medium-low. Add sauce; cook 3 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Add linguine mixture; toss. Makes 5 cups.
3. Serve linguine mixture sprinkled with cheese and basil, if desired.
