Crispy Bacon & Green Beans

Cook: 12 minutes • Serves: 8

2 packages (12 ounces each) frozen cut green beans
5 slices Oscar Mayer® original bacon, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1.Prepare green beans as label directs; drain and transfer to paper towel-lined rimmed baking pan. Pat green beans dry.

2.In large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp, stirring frequently; with slotted spoon, transfer to paper towel-lined plate. Discard all but 1 tablespoon drippings remaining in skillet.

3.In same skillet with drippings, cook green beans, salt and pepper over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Add vinegar; cook 1 minute or until liquid evaporates. Stir in almonds and butter; cook 1 minute or until butter is melted, stirring frequently. Add bacon; toss. Makes about 5 cups.
