4 Unique Ways to Cook Eggs

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to egg-cooking techniques! Take your egg dishes to the next level with these fun and unique cooking ideas.

1. Omelet in a Bag

Crack two to three eggs into a zip-top plastic bag. Add your favorite veggies and seasonings. Give the bag a shake, and place in simmering water. When the eggs are cooked to your desired consistency, pour into a dish and enjoy!

2. Get the Cure

In a container filled with equal parts salt and sugar, create yolk-sized depressions. Gently place egg yolks in depressions and cover with the cure mixture. Cover and refrigerate for one week, at which point they will be almost solidified. Bake the cured yolks in a 200° oven for about 30 minutes to fully dry them out. Grate them over salads, pasta, soups or veggies for a salty garnish!

3. A Soft Approach

Cook eggs in their shells in boiling water for six minutes, then cool in an ice bath and refrigerate for later use, or eat immediately by gently tapping the shell with a spoon to crack and carefully remove the shell. Enjoy over salads, avocado toast, ramen, pasta, a Buddha bowl or with toast for dipping!

4. Egg Brûlée

Create a sweet, crisp and fancy
treat by applying a favorite dessert technique to your eggs. Sprinkle a bit of salt and sugar over two halves of a soft-cooked egg, torch to caramelize and voilà, egg brûlée!
